Established September 22, 2006, by the Fortner family and friends of the Stone Laboratory in honor of Dr. Rosanne W. Fortner through The Foundation. Distribution supports environmental science education by providing scholarships for teachers at Stone La b based on need and a demonstrated desire to enhance their qualifications for teaching interdisciplinary Great Lake studies.
