Provides operating support for the Ross Community Garden, a joint project with Department of Horticulture and Crop Science and The Ross Food and Nutrition Signature Series, to educate our Ross heart community and to benefit Ross heart patients and their families, on an evidence based guide to healthy eating a diet that is primarily fruit and vegetable based. Ross Community Garden is an activity based initiative with expenditures to include: tuition for one in-state undergraduate; labor for adult supervisor and part-time student or hourly intern; supplies, tools, seeds, etc.; greenhouse rental costs and Waterman Farm Complex space fees; or other costs as approved by executive director of Ross Heart Hospital.
