Supports the student-led and faculty-managed farm located at the Waterman Agricultural and Natural Resources Laboratory. The OSU Student Farm offers students hands-on learning through food production, performing research, and hosting outreach and engagement opportunities to enhance education and awareness around food justice and the broader sustainability of food and farming systems. The OSU Student Farm donates approximately half of its produce to food insecure members of the Ohio State and Columbus communities through organizations, such as the Buckeye Food Alliance and Food Not Bombs. Support shall include, but not be limited to, planting and harvest materials, student wages, research supplies, farm equipment, operational and maintenance needs, and educational expenses.
