This project aims to increase awareness of the link between human activities and water quality from local to global scales by improving water quality and conservation education for students in Ohio and Uganda. This will be accomplish by implementing water quality monitoring programs with school-age children in Ohio and Uganda, encouraging communication between the two groups of students through visual media, and creation of a photo essay that combines water quality photos taken by students in both countries. The project will be led by Asssistant Professor, Dr. Suzanne Gray (SENR) or her successor, with help from graduate students.
