John Glenn School of Public Affairs

John Glenn School of Public Affairs The John Glenn School of Public Affairs was created in 2006 by a merger between the Ohio State School of Public Policy and Management and the John Glenn Institute for Public Service and Public Policy. The school prepares students for service careers in public and non-profit sectors by offering a bachelor of arts degree, two master's degree programs, a doctoral program, and, in collaboration with other Ohio State colleges and departments, a variety of dual and joint degree programs. In partnership with the university’s libraries, the school is also home to the John Glenn Archives, a career-spanning collection of papers and memorabilia donated to Ohio State by Senator and Mrs. Glenn. Through its outreach and civic engagement activities, the school engages the public in the exploration of citizenship and the role of the public sector in a democratic society.
