Alumni Association

Established in 1879, the Ohio State University Alumni Association is focused on engaging and enriching the lives of alumni by connecting them with their alma mater. The Ohio State University has nearly half a million alumni living worldwide. All are members of the Alumni Association.

The Association has a global presence through more than 50 societies and 200 clubs throughout the world. But we strive to stay connected no matter how many miles separate us, showing how firm alumni friendship is for Ohio State.

The Ohio State University Alumni Association, Inc. Scholarship Endowment Fund

Established July 8, 2005 with gifts from the Alumni Association’s affinity fund; used to provide renewable undergraduate scholarships to currently enrolled students at any of The Ohio State University campuses not receiving freshman recruiting scholarships with preference given based on academic performance and financial need. One or more scholarships shall be given with preference to African American or other underrepresented groups in order to support educational diversity. Revised May 14, 2010.


Alumni Association Endowment Fund

Established February 7, 1992, by members and friends of the University Alumni Association. Income maintains the alumni campus building and advances the association's mission. Principal and income may support planning, construction, maintenance, enhancem ents and/or upgrades to the campus Alumni Association building.


The Greater Cleveland Alumni Scholars Endowment Fund

Established June 6, 1997 with gifts from The Greater Cleveland Alumni Club, individual alumni, and friends; used to provide scholarship support for one or more qualified graduates of Cuyahoga County High Schools. Revised May 14, 2010.

OSU Alumni Club of Butler County Scholarship Endowment Fund

Fund Number: 645425

Established April 4, 2008 with gifts from the OSU Alumni Club of Butler County; used to provide one or more annual scholarships for students who graduated from public or private high schools located in Butler County, Ohio who were in the top 25% of their graduating class and demonstrate good citizenship qualities and leadership skills – financial need may be given consideration.


The Dallas/Fort Worth Alumni Scholarship Fund

Established April 5, 1991, by alumni and friends in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Income provides scholarships for students from the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

The Lynne Murray Stockwell Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established May 7, 2004, by her family and friends and the Middle Tennessee Alumni Association. Income provides merit-based scholarships to students recommended by the Middle Tennessee or Ohio State Alumni Associations.


The OSU Alumni Club of Phoenix Scholarship Fund

Established June 1, 2001, by the OSU Alumni Club of Phoenix through The Foundation. Income provides merit scholarships to high school graduates in the Phoenix Metro Area. Unused income is reinvested to principal.


Richland County Ohio State University Alumni Club the Ohio State University at Mansfield Scholarship Endowment Fund

Fund Number: 606079

Established June 5, 1987, by the Richland County University Alumni Club. A minimum of ninety-five percent of income provides scholarships given under the criteria established. No scholarship shall be less than fifty percent of tuition, at the time of the award, for a full academic year.

The Greater Cincinnati Alumni Scholarship Endowment Fund

Fund Number: 602730

Established September 2, 1998, by the Greater Cincinnati Alumni Club, alumni, and friends. Distribution provides scholarships under the guidelines of the Alumni Scholars Program for juniors or seniors with a 2.8 GPA or above who are Greater Cincinnati ( Hamilton, Warren, Butler, or Clermont Counties) high school graduates. The scholarship is renewable for juniors. Unused distribution is reinvested to principal.

Established February 5, 1999, by the Alumni Club of Central Florida, its members and friends. Income provides scholarships to graduates of central Florida high schools with preference for students qualified under the Alumni Scholars Program criteria. Un used income is reinvested to principal.


Ohio State Suncoast (Tampa Bay) Alumni Club Scholarship Fund

Provides support for Tampa Bay high seniors to attend Ohio State. The scholarship is awarded to students who display both academic and civic excellence


Palm Beach County Alumni Scholarship
